Three months from now.
#July
I will be spending 1st half of July in Subang. The 2nd half of July I will get my last dose of Hepatitis B vaccination and have my bags packed. I will emo a bit at home and re-read my collection of books at least once. ( Lord of the Rings included). I want to Re-follow Malaysian Politic soap opera and cut myself off all internet connections to refocus my life. No more twitter and no more facebook till I find my way back my anatomy books.
I will feed myself with good authentic malaysia food and mummy's cooking. I will do as much study of the bible as possible to guard myself from any possible cultish influence^^. I will prepare myself to prepare a way for my future KIMS junior. (juniors, pray hard you get KIMS^^). I will enjoy every moment in Penang,(congratulations Penang! for the 2nd Adnniversary of official recognition as UNESCO heritage site). I will take in the Penang air, and love it.
#August
The fourth day of August will mark the new chapter of my life -- university life/medical school life. And it will be my first flight experience! I can't wait to be up in the air.
I will reach my university where I will be for the next 66 months. For the first part of August I will be busy adapting myself to Karad and Indian food. I will be trying to make my life as awesome as possible. I will try to get to know a lot of people and locate an excellent church to go to. And most probably I will be cooking myself, cos by the end of the month I think I will be fed up with the food already. And who knows if God leads, we will be able to start a small CF or prayer group in KIMS and have lots of God-time together. I am going to register Campus Revo KIMs no matter what, because I am called to be a christian first before I am a doctor, and I should lead a revo lifestyle.
I will not live to make people like me, but I will HELP them to like me^^. Never compromise and hold on to my non-negotiables. I will be the light and the salt. Even if I am the last candle I will not blow myself out.
I will most probably have a good time with Sheih Nee, my new roomie^^, and will read a lot of books together. We will spend a lot of time having fun together and encouraging one another. I will take good care of my health and start running again^^.
#September
Most probably I will already have gotten use with my life in India and loving every bit of it. I will be watching Bollywood and have a good laugh with my local friends. I will get myself a guitar and maybe attend some lessons over there. I will read a lot of books and skyping my friends. I will be studying hard but study with the purpose of honoring God! I will not hesitate to help anyone I can and I will start serving in the local church where I belong to. I will not give myself any lazy lame excuses. I will strive in my studies and will give my best. We will all be loving India and I will most probably made a few trips to Pune. I will check out Karad^^.
By September I think I would be as Indian as my other friends. I will be able to communicate in Mahiti in simple sentences and I will share my faith to the hungry people around me. I will bring the love of Jesus to them! Campus Revo KIMS will be growing by now, and we will be faithfully interceding for our Campus, loving it till it loves Jesus back! i will be so much more mature and will be bearing the fruit of the spirit. I will focus on whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.(Phillipians 4:8). I will run the race!
And by September I will be settled down. I will have India in my blood. I will love it. And most of all, I will begin to understand, that my God is still God, in India as real as He is in Malaysia.
One day I will be proud that I am a doctor, made in India.
